We're excited to bring you TRL Junior's first event of 2026! Join us for a fun day of touch footy, open teams for ages 6-12 years.

Pricing

Early Bird – $50 per child (register by midnight February 12)
Standard – $60 per child (register from February 13)

Under 8s: Individual Registration (not in a pre-organised team)
Under 8s: Team Nomination (for pre-organised teams – managing parent only)‍

Under 10s: Individual Registration (not in a pre-organised team)

Under 12s: Individual Registration (not in a pre-organised team)

Format

Competition format

Each team will play a minimum of 4 x 20 minute games (+ finals)

Age groups

Under 8s (children born 2018 to 2020 inclusive); Under 10s (children born 2016 to 2017 inclusive); and Under 12s (children born 2013 to 2015 inclusive).

Gender

All competitions will be open competitions (meaning boys and girls will play side by side – there will be no separate boys and girls divisions).

Times/when your child will play

The Event will run from approximately 2:00pm – 7:30pm pending how many teams we have.

Parental Involvement

We encourage parents to take an active role in helping us organise the children at this Event (i.e. getting children to correct field). We will provide a referee/coach on each game but it will help (especially for the under 8s) to have additional parents assisting with teams to ensure each child gets a go and to provide general direction. For all age groups, parents will need to help monitor and manage substitutions.

Uniforms

Uniforms are encouraged but not essential. (We will not be selling uniforms for this Event).
